How To Present the Engagement Ring

There is so much pressure on you when you are proposing right? Believe me, we get it! First you have to find the perfect engagement ring and then come up with creative proposal ideas. But there is another thing you might not even be thinking of and that is, how to present the engagement ring. That’s right, yet another thing to think about. But we have you covered.

Now you might be thinking, I was just going to put my engagement ring box in the box that it came in, put it in my pocket, and pop the question. And if that works for you then that is totally fine. But make sure the box is small enough to actually fit in our clothes. You don’t want your partner to spot the big ring box bulge before you are ready to pull it out and propose. And you definitely don’t want to pull a ring out of your sock!!

So if you have decided that the ring box won’t do, or you just want to do something a bit different, here are 5 ideas on how to present your engagement ring:

A Unique Ring Box

A modern ring box is one that is easily concealed with a sleek profile, yet holds the ring securely and presents it beautifully
Ringstash.com is a unique engagement ring box that holds the ring by its base, and as you open the box, the ring is rotated to create a beautiful presentation
This ring box has really strong magnets to make sure that your investment doesn’t fall out

If you want the James Bond of ring boxes, this is it.

All Tied Up

Wrap the ring on a piece of ribbon around a special bottle of wine or champagne
Have the champagne set up in a beautiful venue or amongst some stunning decor
BONUS: You can celebrate immediately afterward with a toast

A word of caution, make sure you completely trust a vendor that is going to be responsible for your engagement ring. They need to make sure the room is completely secure until you arrive so that your investment is protected. If possible, have someone wait with it until you arrive.

Drone Delivery

If you are a lover of technology or just want to have something truly different, have your engagement ring delivered by a drone
Have a romantic picnic setup outside and your partner will be blown away when the drone arrives with their engagement ring
Celebrate with some champagne or have the drone come back and sprinkle down rose petals

Make sure you research the drone laws in your area to make sure everything is on the up and up. You also want to make sure you choose someone that is extremely trustworthy and has a stellar online reputation. You will be trusting them with your engagement ring so you need to make sure they are vetted.

Nestled in a Book

If your partner is a lover of a certain novel, purchase that novel, and hide the ring inside the book
Try to find a particular passage or chapter title that has something to do with love or marriage, and highlight it
Fill a room with candles and have the book waiting on a special table

In a Bouquet

Nothing tops a beautiful bouquet like a sparkling diamond ring!
Ensure that the ring is secure with a florist pin or ribbon so that it stays right where you want it
If you’d rather offer a single bloom, you can place the ring around the stalk of the flower – just make sure you secure it as well
Incorporate this bouquet into your overall proposal idea

Again, making sure your investment is completely protected is of the utmost importance. You will want to make sure the ring is pinned on very securely so that there is no chance you will lose it.
