David is the brother of Mark, a client that we worked with last month creating this dream proposal. He contacted us to plan his very sentimental proposal on the same corner that he and Danit had shared their very first kiss. They were on their way to a bar in New York City after they left a mutual friend’s birthday party and while they were waiting to cross, they shared their first kiss right on the median.
On the day of the proposal, David and Danit walked toward Allen and Delancey Street and ran in to a guitarist (planted by us of course.) The guitarist handed her a sunflower which is her favorite flower and then began to serenade her with the song “Ho Hey,” by the Lumineers. The guitarist asked the couple to follow him and he lead them to the median while singing the song. When Danit saw what was waiting for her, she was in complete shock!
On the bench were their initials, “D & D” and all around the bench were more sunflowers and lanterns. The setup was simple, sentimental, and beautiful. David took Danit by the hand, told her how he felt about her and then dropped to his knee to propose.
And then Danit did the cutest thing. She dropped right down with David to accept his proposal.
Everyone that was a part of this proposal was very touched because the love that this couple has for each other is contagious.
