Atlanta Proposal Ideas & Packages

1. Piedmont Park

This gorgeous park is located just north of downtown Atlanta.  Though it’s close to downtown, it still manages to have a somewhat suburban feel to it.   The park has many nice features like the large Active Oval which has a beautiful city skyline view and also Lake Clara Meer.  On this quaint lake there is actually a beautiful gazebo that sits right in the middle of the bridge.  This a beautiful spot to bring your partner to with a proposal idea such as an Atlanta Photo Tour (see photo above). Your partner will absolutely love it and you can always return to this lovely location for anniversaries to come!

2. Botanical Gardens

Speaking more about Piedmont Park, if you venture to the north end of the park, you’ll find Atlanta Botanical Gardens which are really nice. Not only do they have gorgeous flowers as you would expect, but they also have art in the garden! Imagine proposing next to a sculpture or fountain surrounded by greenery. If you have a nature-loving girlfriend, this could be perfect.

3. Fountain of Rings

A beautiful tribute to the Olympics that occurred here in 1996, the Fountain of Rings is to Atlanta what the Bellagio fountain is to Las Vegas. At night, it is beautifully lit up and of course, there is a water show. This could be a perfect proposal location to your athletic girlfriend.  Check out the Fountain of Rings schedule to see what time their shows are and plan your proposal around a start or end time of a show.  Even if the water show isn’t your thing, the rest of the park is so lovely with gardens and views of the city so you really can’t go wrong here!

4. The Sundial Restaurant

Propose with an amazing view of the city at the Sundial Restaurant. Located at the top of the Westin Hotel, you will get atmosphere, romance, and a killer view of the city. Just make sure to think of a creative way to propose here because a standard restaurant proposal is a little boring.

5. Jackson Street Bridge

If you want one of the best views of the Atlanta skyline then you really can’t get any better than the Jackson Street Bridge.  It’s a great place for a proposal because of the view and also because it’s usually relatively secluded.  You can bring your partner here during sunset on a “casual stroll”.  All of a sudden a musician can appear for an Atlanta musical serenade and he’ll play your song.  Your partner won’t know what’s happening but will be mesmerized by the song and the view.  You’ll be sure to get a YES from your partner.

6. High Art Museum

If you like to add a little bit of history, class, or culture into your night, then a visit to the High Art Museum is a good option for your wedding proposal.  This museum has many events that are constantly going on so be sure to check out their schedule.  If you don’t want to focus on using an event, then scope out the museum beforehand for a beautiful piece of artwork that you can relate to your relationship and then on your proposal-day take your soon-to-be fiancé to this exact artwork and pop the question.  This artwork will then forever be engraved into your relationship history.

7. Ponce City Market

If you’re not familiar with Ponce City Market, it’s a reinvented community hub that has a food hall, shops, offices, and best of all an amazing rooftop.  The space was originally a Sears Roebuck building in the early 20th century but has been revitalized to this modern and hip venue.  The rooftop has an amazing view of the city where you can take your partner to propose at and then enjoy cocktails and dinner at the same location!
