Mount Bonnell
This is the highest point in the city of Austin so you can catch some gorgeous views of the city here. You don’t have to be incredibly outdoorsy to go here either. The hike is very easy and short so you can pack up a picnic, take your sweetie here, and propose at sunset as you catch views of downtown.
Zilker Botanical Garden
This beautiful location is the perfect place for an intimate proposal. The gardens include rose and herb that are interconnected with streams and waterfalls. Take a stroll with your partner while enjoying the beautiful flowers and plants.

This location is absolutely stunning for a marriage proposal. You do have to reserve it and proposals can only be held Monday-Thursday. If you can make that work for your schedule, the photos will definitely be worth it.
Butler Park
This park is another favorite due to the views and occasional sunsets. Just beware that it can get busy so if you are looking for a private proposal, this won’t be your best option.
