It’s holiday time and you can feel the romance in the cool, crisp air as everyone is bundled up, doing their Christmas shopping and rocking out to festive tunes. There is nothing like treating yourself and your honey to the best gift of all this Christmas, a marriage proposal to ensure your love lasts a lifetime.
While most Christmas proposals tend to be overdone (can anyone say ornament ring box?), we have some creative ways to celebrate the season while popping the question:
By the Fire
Does anything scream winter love quite like cozying up with your special someone by the fireplace? I think not! If you don’t have a fireplace, consider renting a cabin in the mountains or even making a campfire-style picnic in your backyard to create that same intimate environment.
In the Snow or Forest
You and honey can bundle up and go for a walk in the snow or forest, perhaps leading to a romantic setup for you to pop the question. A tree farm or secluded tree lot is a great alternative if you’re too far from either organic option.
Serenade by Christmas Carolers
As big as a flash mob or as small as an a cappella group, Christmas carolers may be a great way to serenade your loved one and set the mood. Whether they greet you at your door or meet you on your forest walk, holiday carols are a sure way to take advantage of the Christmas spirit in your proposal.
