Campus Martius Park
This is a wonderful transforming park in the center of the downtown. In the winter it becomes an ice rink where you can skate a few laps before you get down on one knee (carefully) and pop the question. In the warmer months, you can enjoy the food trucks and music for a perfect date and proposal location.
Detroit Riverwalk
For those that want be more picturesque view of waterfront, then Detroit Riverwalk is the perfect spot. With beautiful water views, greenbelts, and the Milliken State Park Lighthouse, there are plenty of spots that you can propose. Some good options include a musical serenade, photo tour, or even a picnic proposal here.
Rooftop
There are not many rooftops in Detroit, the ones that do exist are great options, especially if you’re available to rent out the entire space.
