When guys are thinking about proposing marriage one thing we always try to steer them clear of is cliché wedding proposal ideas. These cliché ideas are more prominent in restaurants for some reason. You ALL know what I’m talking about. A few of the most cliché ideas are dropping the ring in a champagne glass, putting the ring in your dessert, and just proposing at the restaurant at the end of dinner. These ideas have no spark or uniqueness to them. To help out all you guys out there that are thinking about how to propose marriage while incorporating a restaurant, then today’s blog is just for you. Here are some excellent ways to incorporate restaurants into your engagement idea.
Private Room
Even if you’re at a nice restaurant, there’s something that it not special about proposing just at your table. If you really want to do something nice at a restaurant, then a very good option is to reserve a private room for your proposal. In this room you will have lots more options that include decorations and other vendors like photographers and musicians. Doing something like this is more elaborate but yet still intimate. Rooftop or Terrace
Similar to the private room, you can also use the rooftop or terrace of a restaurant to have a better proposal. With these places you get the open feel of the air and have more options that will not bother other guests and have more privacy.
Enlisting Staff and “Fake” Guests
This is a more elaborate scheme and it would really take Wedding Proposal Planners – The Heart Bandits to help you pull it off. Essentially, you propose at the restaurant but the other guest and the staff are all in on the surprise and will all either perform or act in certain ways to go along with the story. Think about it like a play but in a restaurant. When it’s pulled off, it makes for an amazing and exciting engagement story.
Using the Restaurant as an After-Celebration
There is absolutely no rule that says if you’re going to propose at a certain night that you have to do it during or after dinner. A lot of guys want to propose at restaurants because they’re either visiting a new town or the restaurant is some place that their girlfriend has been wanting to go to. Even if this is the case, how about proposing in a unique way to your relationship beforehand and then going to that same restaurant as a celebration. You would then be able to have a glass of champagne to celebrate and that would be one of the most exciting dinner you will ever have.
