I’m a native Californian and I believe that nothing can get me away from here. But there are certain states and cities that just have a lot of charm that I love going to. San Antonio is one such city because of the amount of history, charm, culture, and art it has to offer. For today’s marriage proposal ideas, we will be reviewing where to propose in San Antonio.
River Walk
This is hands-down the most romantic area of the city. It’s an excellent place to take a romantic walk with your sweetie on a warm summer night and propose on one of the scenic and charming bridges. Another option is to take your partner on one of the sight-seeing boats and have a sign held up along the shore asking her to be your wife.
Botanical Gardens
The San Antonio Botanical Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place to propose marriage in. Enjoy a leisurely walk from the rose garden to the lake. There are often times many butterflies that are flying around so you can head to an area where there’s many flowers to catch a glimpse of them. They have some art exhibits and overlooks that will be perfect for a relaxing time with your loved one.
McNay Art Museum
This Art Museum is a gorgeous place that has a vast collection of art. The facility itself perfectly blends beautiful Spanish style buildings and modern artistic architecture. Stroll through the gardens with the streams and fountains and you will have a perfect opportunity to enjoy quality time with your partner. There are many weddings that are held here and you can even book a rental space to have a perfectly personalized marriage proposal.
San Pedro Springs
This is a great historical place to visit because it is San Antonio’s oldest park and the second oldest park in the US. There is a nice collection of springs that cut through the park. You can incorporate that into your proposal by following the path and creating a marriage proposal around that on a nice day.
